John and the team did a great job with my gutter mess at my 1905 Elwood historic home downtown DeKalb. Gutters and downspouts were overflowing and some of the water was causing damage to the house. I felt guilty how little they charged. Just being honest.

I’ve had to deal with many different services contractors in the past year, to bring my house up to date. J&J was by far the most responsive, easiest, and kindest. They quickly completed my deck, walkway, gutters and roof. It all looks great, but I had no idea my deck could look this good!

They were very easy to work with. I reached out for a quote on gutter cleaning and installation of gutter guards. They responded back quickly with a quote which was very fair with the amount of work done. I supplied the gutter guards for them to install. They showed up as promised and cleaned all the debris after cleaning the gutters. Very pleased with their work and would recommend. They are also insured which is an added plus!

I have a very bad habit of procrastinating and this week I went in search of someone to clean my gutters before the snow flies. When asking for recommendations on my local FB group, I did not receive one! So I resort to google. Called a company that refused to quote without coming all the way out to see my house. Texted another company for a quote, per their website and I have still have not heard back from them. And then I found J&J Power Washing and Gutter Cleaning in Sycamore. I called and left a voice mail and within a few hours John called back. Less than an hour after that he texted me a quote and told me he could get to my house the next day. So of course I accepted. He was running a little behind on the day of service and texted me a new time.. only 45 minutes later, which he was spot on. He was extremely professional and kind and finished as quickly as he told me he would. I will not hesitate to call him next year…hopefully before mid-December! Great job John, thank you! John answered my query quickly and professionally and came out the next day. He immediately cleaned out my gutters and then gave free estimates for work to be done for pressure washing and window painting. I was very pleased with his work so far and am sure that I’ll be just as happy with the pressure wash and windows. John also cleaned the gutters on my sister’s home across the street while he was here. Customer service just couldn’t be better! UPDATE: Pressure wash completed and just as quick and professional as the previous work done. Once the window paint is completed, I’ll be back to report. Great job!

This company was very affordable, and did a great job! We had the exterior of our house and garage cleaned, gutters cleaned and garbage bins cleaned. They communicated when they would be at our house and responded to all inquiries promptly. The guys were super friendly and efficient. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Very happy with my experience with J&J! Great communication and friendly. They arrived on time, introduced themselves and reminded me to lock all windows before they started. They were quick but did a thorough job, my house is white again and my gutters are clean! They were also considerate of my flower beds around the house. Pointed out a few things about the age of my roof and gutters (which I already knew, but it shows they're paying attention, and was appreciated feedback). I would definitely use their services again!

Gutters and the gutter lines looked brand new after washing. They were very prompt and friendly to work with. They were pretty professional closing the outside camera , awning, key holes from water damage. Reasonable price compared to all others. Great job and keep up the great work. Really appreciate doing this. Totally agree with all the other great reviews about them in google. Will definitely use them again and refer to any friend’s houses too. adding some pre wash and post wash videos here. Had a 1 minute video, but looks like google only allows 30 seconds.

I have used J&J twice now. I am very happy with both services rendered. Last year, I called them to clean my gutters, they knocked it out in 15 minutes for a reasonable price. Just today, I had them power wash my patio and home. I am extremely pleased with how it came out. We recently purchased our home, one of the suggestions made on the home inspection was to have the house power washed. It came out looking like the house had just been painted. I don’t think it had been washed in years and I am very please with the quality of the work and cost. I would highly recommend these services and I will have them back in the fall to do my gutters again. 100% recommend.

He did excellent work on both jobs and was extremely responsive and followed through before and after the job. John was incredible he responded to FB inquiry within minutes he scheduled my siding power washing service within hours and then when I had a conflict he rescheduled me for the day BEFORE! Then the service was incredible I have not had my aluminum siding cleaned in 20+ years it looks brand new AND he cleaned my drivit which usually no one will touch for anything and my house looks freshly painted within an hour for a fraction of the cost. We have a walkout basement, which means you need a 3 story ladder to do the job! I spoke to John as he was loading up his ladders. He took a quick look and quoted a reasonable fee. It’s a great service that was easy to schedule and very convenient. My house was power washed and it was amazing how different it looked after being cleaned. I didn’t realize how dirty my windows, shutters, gutters, trim and siding were until it was power washed. My gutters were also cleaned of leaves during the same appointment and I have peace of mind going into winter knowing they are clear. I would definitely call them again.
